MEET THE TEAM
MICHELLE (OWNER)
Michelle’s love for people and salon life began at an early age, spending afternoons at her father’s salons. Today, as the owner of Social Salon, Michelle possesses an innate ability to connect with clients on a personal level. Behind the chair, she embodies an empathy and creativity for each client and her desired hair goal. “I truly believe the world is about connection and love, and it is a joy to bring people together in a beautiful salon space we’ve created just for them.”
MARILENA
Marilena possesses a passion and a gratitude that you can feel by being in her presence. Her career in hairstyling has taken her from building her clientele at Bridgewater Mall to a successful 20-year ownership of MarKirk Salon. With her immense talent for event hairstyling, creative color, haircuts and hair texture changes, she works to help clients express themselves through hair. When you’re in her chair, you’re going to “know what I mean!”
VINCENT
Vince is a seasoned professional with a strong expertise in style design, precision cutting, color correction, and face shape analysis. With a lifelong experience in hair, he has owned multiple salons including the Gatsby Salon, won awards, and has been an integral part of the evolution of the industry. He lives locally with his wife Jeanne, and he loves travel, gardening, and the Blues!
DANIELLE
A talented and experienced stylist, Dani affirms that she “truly values every client” she encounters. She specializes in cutting and styling for both men and women, and she is an exceptional colorist. She can always be found putting a smile on her client’s face.
DOROTHY
Making her clients feel beautiful both inside and out is what Dorothy loves most about her career as a stylist.
FLORENCE
Florence has a true talent for all aspects of hairdressing, including formal styling and makeup. What sets Florence apart is her positivity, humor, and honesty. She is a joy to be around and a true artist behind the chair. “If my skills make you feel like $1 million bucks, then that’s the best day for me!”
KATHRYN
Kathryn is a master stylist and colorist, a true artist of her trade. She values her relationships with each of her clients, and working with them to create a style, cut, and color that is the perfect expression of who they want to be. She is an expert in working with all hair lengths from pixie to long hair. With her meticulous attention to detail, she cuts hair wet and dry to fine tune each cut. She is passionate about color and uses the latest professional color products to enhance natural beauty. Kathryn keeps her clients feeling confident in expressing their own style, or in trying something new on trend.
KERRI
Kerri is an exceptional artist specializing in the techniques of balayage and blonding. She is a graduate from the esteemed Vidal Sassoon Academy in Santa Monica, CA where she acquired the expertise that now shows through her beautiful cutting and styling transformations.
KIM
Kim brings an unparalleled level of expertise, specializing in color, blonding techniques, and precision cutting. She is known for her exceptional skills in creating beautifully lived in color. She brings elegance to everything she touches.
CARA
Cara puts her heart and soul into her work behind the chair. She cares deeply for her clients, and her ultimate goal is for her clients to leave the salon feeling beautiful and confident.
MAUREEN
Maureen absolutely LOVES her career in the beauty industry, and that passion allows her to challenge herself and constantly evolve in her craft.
ALICIA
Alicia is a confident and talented stylist and colorist. Alicia loves all things beauty, as well as keeping up with the latest hair trends and bringing her client’s hair inspo to life!
VIOLET
Violet is a rising star in the hairstyling world. With a passion for blonding and extensions, she is always eager to learn new skills and push the boundaries of creativity. It’s her goal to make her clients’ hair dreams come true!
